How often do I need to service my septic tank?

We highly recommend cleaning/pumping out your septic system every 2 - 3 years to avoid problems.


Are there any hazards to look out for to protect my septic system?

Yes, here we listed the most common hazards we run across on a daily basis.

  • Tree roots: roots can make their way into your septic tank and sewer lines and rick havoc on your system.
  • Flushable wipes: wipes DO NOT DISSOLVE in your septic system. They can burn out your pump or aerator, they call also cause your tank to fill up faster then expected.
  • Grease: pouring grease down your drain will end up clogging your drain and nothing will be able to through. Clogged pipes may lead to your septic system backing up and, in turn cause serious damage.
